Artur Rudziankov wins Event#58,$1,500 NL Hold’em for $395,918 Artur Rudziankov, a 29 year old pro poker player from Minsk, Belarus has won the event#58 of ongoing 2017 World Series of poker at Rio, Las Vegas.

The event was $1,500 buy-in No Limit Hold’em which attracted 1,763 entrants worldwide and generated $2,380,050 as total prize pool. Top 265 players of the event got paid and most of the money belongs to the winner of the tournament i.e. Rudziankov ($395,918).

Spain’s Mario Prats Garcia becomes runner-up of this Major event of 2017 WSOP and took home a good total of amount $244,611 as total winning share, while third position of the game was for a pro named Timothy Miles of Florida who pocketed $176,455 from the tournament.

This is Rudziankov’s first ever gold bracelet win at any world series of poker tournament. He has won over $269,946 in his previous 11 WSOP cashes and this Payday makes his total winnings from various WSOP tournaments to $665,864.

Rudziankov currently lives in Czech Republic and this particular win of him is only the second gold of WSOP in the history of the country. The first gold for the country came back in 2012, when a Czech player named Tomas Junek won a similar event of $1,500 buy-in No Limit Hold’em.

Rudziankov’s best performance was in 2015, when he played and completed his journey being runner-up of WSOP’s event#30 in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em for a winning total of amount $219,976.

Rudziankov was happy after this great win. He said post match that “I was a great day for me’, I was feeling confident enough and I knew that I can do it. It was a better time for me and not like 2015 when Ivan Luca bested him to win gold bracelet. I had more confidence this time around. And of course I got lucky a couple of times.”

Some Notable player of the game who did everything to enter the final day but busted were Phil Laak (38th), Joe Kuether (42nd), Chance Kornuth (47th), Alex Rocha (51st), and Rocco Palumbo (60th).
