Dzmitry Urbanovich of Poland created History, Wins EPT12 Dublin Main Event

Dzmitry_Urbanovich wins EPT#12 Dublin Main EventDzmitry Urbanovich of Poland has won the prestigious EPT Season 12 Main event for an amount €561,900. Urbanovich is playing great since last season of EPT Malta and has won four back to back events including €25,000 High Roller.

The EPT Dublin Main Event of buy in €5,300 attracted 605 players but the Polish Pro of just 20 years of age played outstandingly and defeated Gilles Bernies of Germany, who took home his share of amount €349,800.

“It really feels great and simply awesome” Urbanovich said after winning this prestigious title.

Top six players remained and participated to the final table of the event and were looking to win the championship. They were:-

Dzmitry Urbanovich of Poland was having top seed and total 5,125,000 chips. Patrick Clarke of Ireland was at second position on the last day of the main event with total 4,300,000 chips. Kuljinder Sidhu , United Kingdom was at third place 3,260,000. At number four German Gilles Bernies having 2,735,000 chips counts. The fifth and sixth places were for Greek Iliodoros Kamatakis(1,965,000) and Rhys Jones of United Kingdom (740,000).

The game started at 11pm local time and UK’s Rhys Jones was the first player to hit the rail and concluded at sixth place with an amount €119,450. Jones got out due to Urbanovich paired his ten.

The next elimination from the table was of Iliodoros Kamatakis of Greece who finished at fifth position and took home his share of amount €152,600. Kamatakis got busted because of two players i.e. Patrick Clarke and Kully Sidhu of United Kingdom were playing head to head and somehow Kamatakis made a mistake and entered aggressively.

The reaming four players were Urbanovich, Bernies, Clarke and sindhu. In the next session of the game Clarke A♣2♦, the Irish player took towards Bernies Q♠Q♥ and hit the rail for third position for an amount take home €193,650.

The heads up round took place in between Urbanovich and Bernies but at the end of the game and after playing a couple more hands Urbanovich becomes the EPT#12 Dublin Champion.
