Matthew from Illinois Wins Heartland Poker Tour

Matthew Shepsky, A pro poker player from Skokie, Illinois wins Heartland Poker tour Golden gates in Colorado. There were a total number of 721 entries entitled for the event which generated a cash pool prize of $1, 059, and 870, to which Matthew secured first position and took home first prize of $227,864. This was the main event of the tournament hosted by Heartland Poker tour and Poker parlour for a buy in of $1,650.

The rest of the pool prize money was distributed to the 81 finalists of the event which includes some of the very good players such as Chris Tryba, Eddy Sabat and Stan Jalonski.

It was the first ever big victory for Mr. Matthew Shepsky who took home a notable amount of $227,864. He has been through many world level poker tournaments including World Series of poker tournament but never succeeded as a winner but now this time he did really well and grabbed the first prize.

Whereas the third position and cash prize of $92, 421, belongs to a player from Palm Bay, Florida named Brandon Miller.

The fourth, fifth and sixth spots of the tournament/event secured by players from Snowmass, Denver and Cheyenne. The named of those players are Garrett Patrick, Danny Gonzales and Rich Dixon. The cash prize for them is as $63,910, $46,634 and $35,824 consecutively.
