Vladimir Shchemelev takes down gold for Mix Omaha Hi-LoVladimir Shchemelev, a professional poker player from St. Petersburg, Russia has won the $1,500 Mixed Omaha Hi-Lo event of world serried of poker 2017 for $193,484.

Howard Smith becomes the runner-up of this game for a total winning share of amount $119,524, while Nikolai Yakovenko completed his journey at third position for a winning share of amount $81,232.

The tournament attracted 688 players worldwide but it was Shchemelev’s day who bested all other players. This win is his second gold bracelet win at WSOP career. His first gold came back in 2013, when he won the $3,000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo event.

The 44 year old banker from Russia is a professional poker player who loves to be at WSOP. He came in lime light in 2010, when he finished at second position against Michael Mizrachi in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

As this was Shchemelev’s second god win, he was very calm at the final table. He also told about the facts that he was facing at the final table. He said that “I was playing in a calm way, I was not in a hurry because I have been through in this situation”., I’m happy that I have done the job today, he added.

Some of very good pro poker players were at the final table but they didn’t lasted against the winner. The first player who busted from the final table of top 7 players was Erle Mankin for a winning share of amount $20,730.

Yueqi Zhu of china was the next man, who hit the rail for a winning share of amount $28,375, while Usman Siddique completed his journey at fifth place for $39,565.
