The world poker tour has announced multi venue poker for countries like Spain and Portugal. WPT is known to be world’s leading poker brand which hosts lots of tournaments worldwide. It is also good in experimenting new poker venues and this particular Multi venue series will take place on May 12 and May 13 at Gran casino Madrid in Spain and at casino Espinho in Portugal. The two countries have lots of poker players and that is why the new venue poker is expected to receive lost of real traffic.
In a press release the world poker tour announced about this new Multi poker venue kind of thing. The venues will at least run two flights and it will go through the process until they got 7% of the total field remaining. The game will stop once it gets to the 7% mark and then the organizers of the festival will use software to track the tournament names “BRAVO”.
After completing each flight at different venues, the rest of the action would be played at Gran casino in Madrid. All the players remained in the business will take on each other to and will play until the winner is decided at Gran Casino, Madrid.
The tournament is expected to receive a hugh prize pool of amount $1 Million, because the last world poker tour’s in Spain event was held in 2014. That tournament attracted 515 Spanish poker players and the winner of the main event was Sdu Freixa. That’s why WPT thinks that, this particular Multi venue poker has great potential to attract players and it will at least get 1,500 players.
The initial buy in for the tournament is €675+€75/or $765+$85. That means it can surpass the expected $1 Million Prize pool if gets such amount of traffic, that world poker tour expecting.
