Gilles Bernies Leads Day 1 A of EPT#12 Main EventOut of 147 entries, Gilles Bernies of Germany and a PokerStars qualifier is at the top on Day 1 A of the EPT#12 Main event. The €5,300 buy in event attracted hundreds of pro poker players from across the world on valentine day (day 1A) of the event and after eight levels of play the German Bernies ended on top in the list with total 189,600 chips and moved to the next stage of the game i.e. Day 2.

Top 79 players moved forward to next Day of the game.

Players who got busted on Day 1a of the game were Martin Staszko, Balazs Botond, Mohsin Charania, Ricardo Manquant, Davidi Kitai and Dario Sammartino. These players just got out from the table and hit the rail and never returned.

This seems to be a very successful event. This is the first EPT halt in Dublin after 10 long years and it is already gaining mass movements from across the world including the United States and Europe.

Team PokerStars pro Jason mercier was able to move ahead in the game along with his lovely girlfriend Natasha Barbour. Mercier bagged total 83,200 chips, whereas his girlfriend had 37,400 chip counts and advances to day 2 of the tournament.
